I Created the ultimate tool for ChatGPT

Before ChatGPT made its debut, I was a regular contributor on Medium. Then, as AI technology evolved and started generating content, I couldn’t help but acknowledge the fact: ChatGPT could craft content potentially better than I could. This realization initially discouraged me but ultimately spurred a pivotal shift in my perspective.I remembered the old saying, “During a gold rush, sell shovels.” Don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to make a sales pitch. Rather, I found inspiration to create a tool that amplifies the power of ChatGPT. And I decided to make it free. The Journey to this product:Investigating ChatGPT and its API, I realized to utilize it outside OpenAI’s website, I would have to subscribe to the API, experiment with it, and wrap a product around it. I was a bit hesitant. The idea of paying for a software service whose cost could scale unpredictably, based on usage, did not appeal to me. Plus, the free test offered by OpenAI already seemed quite satisfactory. So why pay extra?

I Created the ultimate tool for ChatGPT

Before ChatGPT made its debut, I was a regular contributor on Medium. Then, as AI technology evolved and started generating content, I couldn’t help but acknowledge the fact: ChatGPT could craft content potentially better than I could. This realization initially discouraged me but ultimately spurred a pivotal shift in my perspective.

I remembered the old saying, “During a gold rush, sell shovels.” Don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to make a sales pitch. Rather, I found inspiration to create a tool that amplifies the power of ChatGPT. And I decided to make it free.

The Journey to this product:

Investigating ChatGPT and its API, I realized to utilize it outside OpenAI’s website, I would have to subscribe to the API, experiment with it, and wrap a product around it. I was a bit hesitant. The idea of paying for a software service whose cost could scale unpredictably, based on usage, did not appeal to me. Plus, the free test offered by OpenAI already seemed quite satisfactory. So why pay extra?

Meanwhile, I noticed a thriving marketplace around ChatGPT. Books, videos, prompts, training materials — all peddled to eager AI enthusiasts. I saw people selling access to Excel spreadsheets filled with ChatGPT prompts, or books and videos teaching you how to craft perfect prompts. This inspired me to create something better.

That’s the reason I built Vault GPT

Introducing Vault GPT

Built as a WordPress plugin, Vault GPT is designed to harness the ubiquitous presence of WordPress, which powers over 40% of the web. It offers a simple and efficient solution for organizing, managing, and sharing ChatGPT prompts.

The best part? It’s free, and it doesn’t necessitate API integration.

In creating Vault GPT, I’ve incorporated support for features that ChatGPT does not currently support, such as images.

And of course coding blocks for Coding related tutorials:

I hope my tool can be a ‘shovel’ that helps you dig deeper into the possibilities of ChatGPT, enhancing your creative journey in the AI gold rush.
